• ▪ 24 Congregations Will Hear Bond Appeals Twenty-four Detroit area congre- gations will participate in the Is- rael Bond High Holy Day appeals on Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, It was announced by Phillip Stoll- man, chairman of the Detroit Con- gregational and High Holy Day Council. Nationally prominent speakers will make the Bond appeals. They include Ira Feinberg, specialist in Middle Eastern affairs; Riabert Lurie, television and radio writer and producer; and Lewis Norman, director, producer and journalist. Rabbi Jacob E.
