TYPESETTING -°
HOT AND COLD ASSEMBLY
The Master Photo Typesetter that is a challenge to the
Craftsman. Every move is correlated to the ability of
the operator and his technical knowledge of the
"trade." There is no substitute for this combination.
PHOTONS
COMPUGRAPHICS
"PAK" uses Compugraphics for its newspaper production of ads and straight matter. This
is a fast-moving assembly line of "cold type" that equals the BEST.
ALPHATYPES
The "Cadillac" of the photo
composition world. It is ideal for better work —
books, brochures, typesetting for Agencies.
"PAK" uses Alphatype where it fits the needs
of our clients.
LINOTYPES "PAK" operates 15 to 20 Linotypes on a day and night schedule. We are
convinced that there is no substitute for "hot lead" on many jobs. Corrections, that are the bane
of the editor, are simple on "hot."
LUDLOW
The "work horse" of the hot lead line
for over 40 years is still very much a part of "PAK."
We do not substitute for the Ludlow, but use it on
the same "line" as the latest "cold."
CAMERAS
Five cameras, horizontal and
vertical are at your service at "PAK." We
make no attempt to mix the work, but cut
the cloth to suit the trade. At "PAK"
newspaper production is paralleled with the finest job work.
