HOT AND COLD ASSEMBLY

The Master Photo Typesetter that is a challenge to the
Craftsman. Every move is correlated to the ability of
the operator and his technical knowledge of the
"trade." There is no substitute for this combination.

COMPUGRAPHICS

"PAK" uses Compugraphics for its newspaper production of ads and straight matter. This
is a fast-moving assembly line of "cold type" that equals the BEST.

The "Cadillac" of the photo
composition world. It is ideal for better work —
books, brochures, typesetting for Agencies.
"PAK" uses Alphatype where it fits the needs
of our clients.

ALPHATYPES

"PAK" operates 15 to 20 Linotypes on a day and night schedule. We are
convinced that there is no substitute for "hot lead" on many jobs. Corrections, that are the bane
of the editor, are simple on "hot."

LINOTYPES

CAMERAS Five cameras, hdrizontal and
vertical are at your service at "PAK." We
make no attempt to mix the work, but cut
the cloth to suit the trade. At "PAK"
newspaper production is paralleled with the finest job work.

LUDLOW

The "work horse" of the hot lead line
for over 40 years is still very much a part of "PAK."
We do not substitute for the Ludlow, but use it on
the same "line" as the latest "cold."

ROLLERS

So essential for the carry through of both
"hot and cold." "PAK" is equipped to do
the entire job under ideal working conditions,
and to deliver your job on time — which
is a feat in printing.

PRESS POWER

PAK's two unit Urbanite

with
imprinter is geared at 40M impressions
per hour. The ideal press to meet
"red hot" deadline requirements
of newspapers and circulars.

Goss Urbanites make up PAK's
newspaper line. Three new presses
are at your service. Sixty-four (64)
full newspaper pages at one printing
in two or four sections are available.
