There are approximately 406,000 Arabs presently living in Israel. Of these, 72.2 per cent are Mos- lems, 17.8 per cent are Christians, and 8 per cent are Druzes and others. The five-year requisite for grad- uation and Bar Mitzva requires that students be enrolled in a Jewish school when they are eight years old.
