Miss Moss, 18004 Wildemere, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sol Moss, was a graduate of Mumford High School and Wayne State Univer- sity's college of education. She was a native Detroitier. Surviving besides her parents are a brother, Norman; two sis- ters, Sharon and Wendy; and her grandmother, Mrs. Mary Travis. The Family of the Late SARAH KRAUSE in 1931 for his discovery of the nature and mode of action of the respiratory enzyme. He devised instruments and techniques that are widely used by chemists and physiologists. In 1955 he was nominated for a second Nobel Prize, but could not accept because of a ban by the Nazi government. Although he was of Jewish descent, Dr. Warburg remained the head of what is now the Max Planck Institute for Cell Physiology in Berlin throughout the Hitler pe- riod. Hitler may have spared him in hope that the scientist would have him from cancer. The Nazi chief- tain always was afraid of cancer of the vocal cords. Son of physiocist Emil Warburg, he was a graduate of the Univer- sity of Berlin. In 1962, he was awarded the highest West German civilian decoration, the Pour le Merite. Benjamin Weintraub; Was Editor of Chicago Jewish Publications CHICAGO—Benjamin Weintraub, editor of Jewish publications here for many years, died July 29 at age 82. He was general manager of the Chicago Jewish Chronicle from 1920 to 1941 and editor and pub- lisher of the Chicago Jewish For- um, a quarterly, from 1942 until it suspended publication in 1968. For some pears, he was editor of the Decalog Journal, publication of the Decalog Society of Lawyers. Mr. Weintroub, a native of Odessa, Russia, was brought to the United States by his mother when he was 15. His first job was shoveling coal in a Kansas City railroad yard. He attended night school in Kansas City and later in Chicago, graduating from the Kent College of Law in 1915.
