Li'! Abner Mobile Home Park
Offers Complete Facilities

Abner A. Wolf has had a lot to
do with turning the ordinary mo-
bile home park into a country club
type of community.
Mr. Wolf who works full-time at
his multi-million dollar Li' Abner
Mobile Home Park, 20 minutes
west of Miami Beach, offers this
surprising comment:
"About 20 per cent of our ap-
proximately 1,500 residents are
Jewish people who have come here
to the park because they have faci-
lities that they could never hope
for in a Miami Beach high rise."
He noted that due to its proxim-
ity to key expressways, the park
is just minutes from golf courses,
synagogues, race tracks, fishing
areas, county parks and Miami
International Airport.
But even more important, the
park offers its own shopping cen-
ter, 10-acre recreational area and
a top-notch nursery and elemen-
tary school on the grounds. Many
are also drawn to the fact that the

park has its own sewerage plant,
and all of its utilities underground,
with well planned landscaping and
quiet private streets giving it an
air of refined beauty.
For those who don't care to live
near children, there's an exclusive
adult section. But there are also
well-planned family sections.
The park's recreation complex in-
cludes a new $350,000 oversize
swimming pool and wading pool
facility complete with dance floor
and bandstand plus tennis courts,
picnic area with barbeque ovens
and softball, volleyball and shuffle-
board areas.
But Wolf's pride and joy is the
ultra-modern, air conditioned
Abner A. Wolf school, a fully-staff-
ed nursery and elementary school
located in the middle of the park
and directed by Mrs. Sybil Mann-
heimer, formerly principal of the
Mannheimer Private School of
Miami Beach.
All of the staff at the school are
certified and classes are small
with instruction individualized to
meet each child's needs and abili-
ties.
The park also offers a full-time
recreation director for children's
activities and arts and crafts as
well as adult activities. Likewise,
there is a full-time swimming pool

Rabbi of Britain, Dr. Immanuel

to respond to the constant search
for relevance, especially among

He predicted that the "restless-

president, said that the money also
will be used for a drug research
project and for a training program
for pre- and post-doctoral students
in psychology.
He said one grant covers train-

chiatry and five residents seeking
training in child psychiatry at the
agency's Irving Schwartz Institute
for Children and Youth. Three of
the grants are for training pre- and

He reported also that during the

If "we pay more for them," he
said, they will return, as "even-
tually, I believe, it's the demand
that creates the supply."
He said he had "little doubt' of
the "intense revival and regenera-
tion of Jewish life" as the number
of Jews "detached" from their re-
ligion is "on the decline" as Is-
rael continues to be the "new focal

point" for many of them. He added
that the age of "disillusionment"
had made the "mysticism' of Has-
sidism attractive to many Jews,
who will become "very sizable in
the coming generation."
