Arabic Children's Show Most Popular Program on Israeli Television

NEW YORK—Israel's most popu-
lar children's television program
is an all-Arabic production begun
after the Six-Day War, according
to an article in the June issue of
Hadassah magazine.
"We have various children's pro-

and his puppet, Sussu," author
Rinna Samuel writes from Jeru-

"When it began, after the Six-

Mrs. Samuel continued: "The
response to 'Sarni and Sussu' was
so wholehearted that today it car-

and vie for its prices."
Another Arabic program which
Mrs. Samuel's 7-year-Old daughter
would not miss is the Arabic Fri-
