Dear Mr. Goldberg:

It is most reassuring to know that the Detroit Friends
Annual Dinner for Yeshiva University will once more
derive the benefit of your capable and warmhearted leader-
ship which you have given so generously over the years.
If it is at all possible, my appreciation is greater
than ever before, knowing as I do how much our beloved
University depends on your efforts at this time when funds
are desperately needed to meet urgent obligations.

Thus I was happy to learn of your spirited appeal during
the recent Brunch of the Detroit Friends and of your many
other activities in promoting the drive on behalf of
Yeshiva University. It only affirms my trust in your
untiring dedication to the University's lofty goals, and
strengthens my hope that you and the outstanding group of
leaders you have enlisted will make the Dinner the most
rewarding event since its inception.
