ZOD Elects Dr. Joel I. Hamburger
At the recent annual meeting of
the Zionist Organization of Detroit,
Dr. Joel I. Hamburger was elect-
ed president.
Other officers are Louis Panush,
chairman of the executive com-

Makes It and Who Doesn't," with
specific Detroit examples, will be
featured on Friday morning and
afternoon. Sessions will start at 10
a.m.
That evening, the conference will
center on "Peoples of Detroit" by
Prof. Feinstein; a discussion of
"Community and Survival"; and
discussion groups on "The State of
Ethnic Institutions."
The conference concludes June
13. A session on "People and Insti-
tutions: Problems and Prospects
for Detroit" will be followed by
evaluation sessions in the after-
noon and a community celebration
day with registration starting at
6 p.m.

Wayne State University's Monteith
