Abe Shiffman, prominent Detroit
philanthropist, has been selected
to receive the Hebrew University's
Torch of Learning Award.
Joseph Jackier, chairman of De-
troit Chapter of American Friends
of the Hebrew University, an-
nounced that the award will be
presented to Shiffman at a dinner
at Cong. Shaarey Zedek June 29.
A major participant in Detroit
