Steve Raphael, recently named
editor of Wayne State University's
student newspaper, the South End,
hopes "to open traditional, direct
means of communication on cam-
pus in order to address the nitty
gritty of the university students
and community."
Raphael, 22, is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Boris J. Raphael of Ard-
more Ave. He is a liberal arts
senior in education and history
who has been on the South End
