Young Adults Learn What Federation
Junior Division Is All About June 17

The Junior Division of the Jew-
ish Welfare Federation will hold
its annual meeting and election of
officers 8 p.m. June 17 in the
Somerset Apartments Recreation
Center, Troy.
This meeting also will serve as
an informal social where prospec-
tive members can get some idea
of the work done by the division.
Stanley Frankel, president, will
present the annual report. The
Junior Division is open to young
Jewish adults age 18-30.
Nominees for office are Michael
Maddin, president; Robert Slatkin.

activities of the Junior Division
is the summer tutorial program.
Students from the third through
sixth grades of the Greenfield
Park Elementary School will
meet at Temple Israel three
afternoons each week for special
tutoring and field trips.

Anyone interested in taking part
in this program, for which volun-
teers are needed, may call Divi-
sion Director Mrs. Lillian Bern-
stein, WO 5-3939, or Sally Jo

At a recent cocktail party, Mr.

and Mrs. Ruben H. Isaacs, of
Meadowlane Ave., Southfield, an-
nounced the engagement of their
daughter Fay to Stuart Stone, son
of Mrs. Louis Stone of Northgate
Ave., Oak Park, and the late Mr.
Stone.
The bride-elect is a junior in
Wayne State University's college
og education. She is affiliated with
Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority at
Wayne.
Mr. Stone will graduate from
WSU in June with a bachelor of
fine arts in industrial design.
