Public Opinion Moves Towards Protection for Israel
Strong efforts in the U. S. Senate and House of Representatives
to assure protection for Israel in the present period of distress emanating
especially out of concern over Soviet Russian aid to the Arabs, and
escalation of war threats in the Middle East, marked a week of activities
that may induce President Nixon to provide Israel with the urgently
