a year ago that Don, who is pre-
sently starting his senior year at
Southern College of Optometry in
Memphis, had written and publish-
ed a book in Braille . . . It is an
easy method instruction book on
how to play the guitar . . . The
Library of Congress had such a
tremendous demand for the books,
which incidentally have had world-
wide distribution, that they re-
quested recordings of the same
material . . . His new album will
also be distributed through the Li-
brary of Congress, so if you know
of a blind person that might be
interested, just drop a line to the
Library of Congress, Washington,
D.C., and ask for the Don Hoffer
Easy Method Guitar Playing for
the Blind . . . its his contribution
to helping the visually handicapped
find a little more pleasure in life.
