Merry Melody Nursery
and Day Camp Announces
Registration for Ages 2-6

Registrations are now being
taken ($10) deposit for Day Camp,
July 20th thru Aug. 28th and Fall
Nursery starting Sept. 8th.
You may attend 2, 3 or 5 days
per week (12 or more sessions).
Day Camp rates: (including lunch
and treats) are $4.50-4 hrs.; 35.50

Mrs. Samuel Hamburger is
chairman of the 1970 Israel Fash
ion Festival, it was announced by
Mrs. Morris L. Schaver, Detroit
Israel Bond Women's Division
chairman. This year's fashion
show-luncheon will be held June 1
at Cong. Shaarey Zedek.
Active in the Israel Bond Cam-
paign for many years, Mrs. Ham-
burger hosted the first Israel Bond
fashion show held in the United
States and recently headed the
1970 sponsor re-enrollment lunch-
eon. Mrs. Hamburger has visited
Israel several times and is active
in all causes on behalf of the
Jewish state.
Israel's top designers will be
represented in this display of haute
couture fashions.

"The Star of Israel" original
diamond creation, presented by
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Allen, will
be presented at the Festival.

Since Israel has become inter-
nationally established as an im-
portant fashion center, the sale
of Israeli ready-to-wear mer-
chandise has greatly increased
each year, and 10 outstanding
ready-to-wear firms are, there-
fore, also represented in the
1070 Israel Bond show.

Israeli cellist Menahem Meir,
son of Israel Prime Minister Golda
Meir, will give a recital at the
Israel Bond sponsor luncheon host-
ed by Mrs. Maxwell Jospey, at her
home, 27887 Fairway Hills, Frank-
lin, noon Thursday.
Meir has appeared in concerts
on three continents, including per-
formances in New York's Carnegie
Hall and Tel Aviv's Mann Audi-
torium,, and with leading sympho-
nies in Europe and the United
States. A Jerusalem native, he
is a teacher of music at the Israel
Academy and Conservatory in Tel
Aviv. He is a graduate of the Man-
hattan School of4dusic. Meir fought
in the Israel War of Liberation
and was in the famous Golini Bri-
gade which established Israel's
control over the Galilee.
The sponsor luncheon is in ad-
vance of the Israel Fashion Festi-
val, to be held June 1 at Cong.

versity of Michigan and will enter
