Israel's Independence to Be Marked Throughout Community Ayalons at Center Kicking off a week-long celebra- tion of the anniversary of Israel's independence at the Jewish Center will be a return engagement of the Ayalons. a group of Israeli musical comedians, 8 p.m. Sunday. In the valley of Ayalon, during the Israeli War of Liberation of 1948, four boys formed the Aya- lons. Life magazine photographed one of their performances in the middle of the desert while appear- ing before the Israel army in the Sinai Campaign. The Ayalons' talents brought them to the United States, where they have since per- formed before the President, at Radio City Music Mall, major concert halls and hotels and clubs. Their knowledge of many languages and cultures enables the Ayalons to present a varied program.
