Cooper stated, "I'resident Nix-
on is carrying on a poor charade
when he says he will evaluate
the reports and their implica-
tion on the strategic balance in
the :Biddle East. Political non-
sense! The President knows that
the Soviet Union is becoming
more and more bellicose toward
Israel and has become a full ally
of the belligerent Arab nations.
- The planes are needed by Is-
rael. and the President is again
exhibiting his weak, unrealistic
and dangerous course of non-
action." said Cooper.
He urged all people of good will
to write and express their concern.
