Hosts Michigan
Conference
Flint Hadassah's Ann Lebster
Chapter will host the Michigan
Region's ninth annual conference
May 19-20 at the Country Squire.
Mrs. Charlotte Jacobson, former
national president of Hadassah and
currently national chairman of the
Hadassah Medical Organization,
will be guest speaker at the Tues-
day banquet and plenary session.
Her topic will be "U.S. Foreign
Policy Toward Israel and the Mid-
dle East."
Also present will be Mrs. Murray
Shernoff, national adviser, who will
discuss "Hadassah's Challenges
1970-71" at the Tuesday awards
luncheon.
Theme of the conference is "A
Historical Yesterday . . . Vibrant
Today . . . A Glorious Tomorrow."
Activities will include discus-
sions and workshops on Israel,
U.S. policy and Arab propagan-
da. A champagne reception, film
festival, model book review and
musicale also are planned.
