Hillel's on wheels! From the
kindergarten to the ninth grade,
the students have been traveling.

Every grade this year has gone on
at least one field trip.
To start at the very beginning,
our kindergarten tripped to the
Southfield Fire Station, where they
observed the firemen in action.
They also went on a pleasure trip
to the Shrine Circus. All attendees
had a marvelous time and returned
home with a gift package, a bal-
loon and a tummy ache.
Next, the second graders went to
Merz Bakery, where they were in-
itiated into the mysteries of mak-
ing dough. Cranbrook also was on
the agenda this year. Both the
second and third graders went on
this outing. Greenfield Village was
visited by the fifth and sixth
grades. It was both an educational
and interesting experience.

During a trip to the Oak Park
Library, our eighth graders be-
came aware of the various sec-
tions of the library and how to
locate and use reference mater-
ials and take out books.

The junior high students are
lucky to have gone on two well-

planned trips. They were bused to
the Art Institute where they toured
the Rembrandt Exhibit, and to
Ford Auditorium where they heard
the Detroit Symphoy Orchestra in
