City of Hope to Meet

"To Help Build Schools That
Build Lives" is the theme of a
Southwoods Chapter, Women's
American, ORT, champagne art
auction to be held 8:30 p.m. Sat-
urday at Cong. Shaarey Zedek.1
The event will benefit Technion,'
the Israel Institute of Technol-
ogy. Holding one of the works to
be auctioned, a painting by De-1
troiter Kenneth Begin, are (from•

Hadassah Groups
to Honor Husbands

Birmingham and Franklin Groups
of Hadassah will raise funds for
the rebuilding of Mount Scopus at
an event honoring their husbands
6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cong. Bnai
David.
A buffet supper and auction will
be included in the "Mr. Wonderful
Night" at which C. P. Charles of
New York will auction off paintings
from a local art gallery, jewels,
fine furniture, chin a, antiques,
television set and a one-year mem-
