FIELD SISTERHOOD will hold its
annual paid-up membership event
in the form of a 'petite supper' 8:45
p.m. Tuesday at the home of Mrs.
Leslie Krakovits, 25510 Colleen,
Oak Park. Mrs. Ithamar Koenigs-
berg and Mrs. Jack Zwick will be
co-hostesses. The program will fea-
ture a talk by State Rep. Albert A.
Kramer of Oak Park on "Issues
Which Confront Us in Michigan

Marking the 90th anniversary of
ORT (Organizatiton for Rehabili-
tation through Training), the Mich-
igan Region of Women's American
ORT will hold a special brunzh
meeting noon Wednesday at Cong.

Highlighting ORT Day will be a
panel discussion of "The '70s —
Changes, Chances, Challenges."
New members joining ORT during
March will be admitted free along
with their sponsors.
Serving on the panel will he
former Police Commissioner Johan-
nes Spreen, Rabbi M. Robert Syme
of Temple Israel, Seymour Riklin
of Wayne State University and
Mrs. H. (Pat) Burnett, president of
the Michigan chapter of National
Organization for Women, the non-
militant feminist group that has re-
cently been organized. Mrs. Harry
Becker will serve as moderator
and conduct a question-answer pe-
riod.
Mrs. Irvin Kurtz, Allegheny ex-

pansion chairman of the national
ORT executive board, will com-
ment on ORT's 90 years of serv-
ice and discuss its future in
Israel and the Diaspora. Mrs.
Bernard W. Colton is president of
the Michigan Region.

ORT Day to Be Observed Here

BETH ACHIM SISTERHOOD will
hold its final oneg Shabat of the
season 2 p.m. March 21 in the syna-
gogue in Southfield. Community
singing of Sabbath songs will be
led by Mrs. Simon Bermanis and
Mrs. Ben Davis. The program will
feature a sociodrama on inter-faith
dating presented by Lahav youth
group. A social hour will follow,
and refreshments will be served.
