WSU Fund Memorializes

Morris Rosenbergs Feted' Sam and Leonard Fink

on Golden Anniversary

Dr. William R. Keast, president
of Wayne State University, ex-

pressed appreciation to Harold
Haas, president of Capri Importers
Inc., for a gift of $30,741 to the
university.
The money will initiate the Sam
and Leonard Fink Memorial En-
dowment Fund, providing scholar-
ship funds for the school of busi-
ness administration. Jack Fink,
vice president of the Great Scott
Food Stores, was present for the
ceremony. The fund is named for
his- late brothers, who were associ-
ated with the Great Scott chain.

Esther Herlitz, Israel's ambassa-
dor to Denmark, will present the
1970 Israel Bond sponsor emblems
(above) at the sponsor re-enroll-
ment luncheon and fashion show
noon Wednesday at the Great
Lakes Club. Mrs. David Pollack
is sponsor chairman; Mrs. Samuel

Social Work. Mellman has under-
graduate degrees at Hebrew Union
College and Washington University
of St. Louis. He produced and
moderated more than 100 television
programs in Pittsburgh and was
an instructor of Jewish history
and Sociology at the College of
Jewish Studies of Pittsburgh and
Los Angeles.

Morris Rosenberg of Miami Beach,
will celebrate their golden wedding
anniversary Sunday with a formal
dinner and reception at the New-
port Hotel, Miami Beach. Friends
and family from Detroit, Toronto
and Philadelphia, including their
two daughters, three grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Rosenberg were
married in Toronto, lived in De-
troit Over 40 years and owned the
Atlas Clothing Co. in Highland
Park before retiring to Miami
Beach six years ago.
They were members of the
Radomer and Ostrowtza societies
and Adas Shalom Synagogue.
