WILMINGTON, DeL (JTA)—
-Plans are under way to form a
Delaware Jewish Historical Center
for collection of historical records
and other data on Jewish life in
Delaware. The project began with
convening of a small archives com-
mittee at the center last month
under the chairmanship of Philip
Cohen.
The goal of the project is assem-
bly of a wide variety of informa-
tion, records and documents on
Jewish settlement in the state dur-
ing the past century and more.
Permanent safe-keeping of all such
records will be arranged at the
new center, according to Meyer
Bass, executive director of the
center.
