Miss Ackerman, daughter of the late Alfred E. Ackerman, was graduated from Michigan State University. She received a master's degree from the University of Michigan, and is continuing her studies at Columbia University Teachers College. Dr. Winer re- ceived his bachelor's degree from I Yale and was graduated from Wayne State University medical school. At Wayne, he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha scholastic honorary society, the Aesculapian Service Society, and was presented with the Distinguished Service Award from the school of medi- cine.
