the Metropolitan Detroit Federa-
tion of Reform Synagogues, will
open Feb. 4 and continue for 15
sessions through May 27.
Meeting at Temple Emanu-El,
the college is open to the com-
munity. Registration will be con-
ducted Wednesday after 7:30 p.m.,
and continues through the Feb. 4

There will be 16 courses in He-
brew, Jewish philosophy, history
and religion, according to James
Levbarg, educational director of
Temple Beth El, who serves as
registrar for the college.
Courses are for beginners and
advanced students, and there is a
graded series of classes in Hebrew.
The college was inaugurated
three years ago to provide accred-
itation for teachers in the religious
schools of the participating Reform
congregations.
Its expanded program now en-
compasses the adult education
classes of Temples Beth El, Is-
rael, Emanu-El, Beth Jacob of
Pontiac, Beth El of Windsor and
