speak from the Temple Israel pul-
pit last Friday evening and were ;
allowed to do so at the conclusion *
of Sabbath services.

services, and all but a handful of
the congregation remained to hear i t
the request for funds on behalf of
Black Panthers who have been
apprehended in various cities.
According to temple administra-
tor Frank Simons, the group asked
to address the congregation after
the service had begun. It was felt
by the temple leadership, said

agers, both college- and high
school-age, were asked to delay
their speech for the conclusion of
the service.
Simons said the talk took five
