Dr. Max M. Gordon,
Veterinarian, 73

Dr. Max M. Gordon, retired doc-
tor of veterinary medicine, who
had been with the Oakland County
Department of Health for 15 years,
died Wednesday at age 73.
Dr. Gordon, 19964 Vaughan,
was a meat inspector for the
Oakland County department and
earlier with the City of Detroit De-
partment of Health for 25 years.
A graduate of Michigan State
University's school of veterinary
medicine in 1919, Dr. Gordon was
a veteran of World War I. Born
in Russia, he lived in Detroit 50
years. He was a member of Sho-
lem Aleichem Institute.
