A feature of the evening was the reading, by Rabbi David M. Lieberman, of a message from Lubavitcher Rebbe M. Schneer- son. The audience stood during the reading of the message, in accordance with a Chabad tra- dition to honor the head of the movement. Peimer on being the first patient to be admitted to Sinai's new Zivian Center for Continued Care, which opened Dec. 3. The 99-bed center, designed for short- term convalescent patients, util- izes a new concept in progres- sive care which allows patients to eat together, wear street clothes and participate in recre- ational activities. Mrs. Oman. mother of four, was admitted to Sinai on Thanksgiving Day for surgery and transferred to the Zivian Center for the duration of her recovery.
