Hanuka Fest for Kids, Parents Scheduled by Sephardic Community The Sephardic Community of Greater Detroit will hold an all- day Hanuka festival Sunday at the community hall of the Tel-Twelve Mall. For children, there will be a party from 2 to 5 p.m. Jacques Lalouf will conduct the candle- lighting ceremony, and there will be songs by the Sephardic choir, which includes Jala Saleymonie, Debbie Papo, Lucy Senor, Alex Abramson, Richard Behar, Linda Yahia, and Rochelle Yahia. Elaine Yahia will be mistress of ceremonies. Jeffrey Shaya, 8, will tell what Hanuka means to him. Rena Senor will supervise a chil- dren's dance contest, and Mary Gruber and Suzy Senor will per- form Israeli dances. On the committee are Mrs. Mar- cel Behar, Mrs. Robert Yahia, Mrs. Irving Abramson, Mrs. Louis Papo and Mrs. Jack Gormezano. Refreshments will be served. Adults will have their party at 8:30 p.m. A brief meeting will he followed by films of the recent annual buffet dinner and movies of a Bar Mitzva in Israel will be shown by Lalouf.
