Wilson-Crissman Cadillac's New Horn e

This new sales and service facility for Wilson-Crissman Cadillac,
Inc.. 1350 N. Woodward Ave.. Birmingham, is currently under con-
struction on the site of the existing building. To enable the dealership
to continue to serve customers throughout construction. Cunningham
Limp, international designers, engineers and builders, has scheduled
a two-phase program. When completed in late 1970, the building will
feature a new paneled showroom with slate floor and luminous ceil-
ing. In the service department, there will be 41 service stalls, six
write-up stations and a customer waiting lounge. Originally con-
structed as a shopping center, the existing building has been a land-
mark since about 1949. Wilson-Crissman converted it to an automotive
dealership building, moving in on July 4, 1954.

Israel on Hanuka

Joseph Katz, Farband president,
and David Sislin, cultural chair-

TWA 'Encouracred"

WASHINGTON (JTA) — Sonic
measure of encouragement on the
prospects for release of the two
Israeli passengers, detained by
Syria since the hijacking last Aug-
ust of an American airliner was
reported Wednesday by a spokes-
man for TWA in Washington.
The spokesman said that "some
encouragement" was felt because
of developments in recent days,
hut that nothing of substance had
developed.
State Department officials said
! that airworthiness tests were being
made in • Damascus to ascertain
whether the plane was in flying
condition. They had no comment
!
on the measured optimism voiced
by TWA but said only that the U.S.
government was "continuing ef-
•forts" to liberate the passengers.
