PHILADELPHIA (JTA)—Nearly
5,000 teachers in Philadelphia
Catholic schools soon will see a
series of films on Jews and Juda-
ism intended to counter the nega -
tive stereotyping found in many
religious texts and literary sour-
ces, it was announced here- Mon-
day.
The program was prepared
under the joint sponsorship of the
Roman Catholic Archdiocese of
Philadelphia and the Anti-Defama-
tion League of Bnai Brith. It is ex-
pected evenutally to affect more
than 250,000 parochial school chil-
dren.
The series will include five one-
hour programs in the "Image of
the Jew in Literature" and seven
half-hour programs on the "Jews
and .Their Religion."
