diet that is exciting the nation.
Thousands have been passing
copies of it from hand-to-hand
in offices, plants, and factories
throughout the country.

Because this diet really works,
we have testimonials reporting on
its success. If you follow it exact-

this diet lets you stuff yourself
with formerly "forbidden" foods
such as steaks trimmed with fat,
roast or fried chicken, gravies.
mayonnaise or fish swimming in
butter or oil, frankfurters and
scrambled eggs and still lose
weight. The secret behind this
"quick weight loss" - diet is simple.
Fat doesn't form fat and the grape-
fruit juice in this diet acts as the
"trigger" to start the fat-burning
process, You stuff yourself on the
permitted food listed in the diet
plan, and still lose unsightly fat
and excess bodily fluids. A copy
of this startling successful diet can

Black Anti-Semitism
Social, Not Religious
Issue—Rabbi Paris

A sharp distinction exists be-
tween classical or religious anti-
Semitism and the "social anti-
Semitism" practiced by some
Blacks in New York, according to
a black rabbi who spoke here Sun-
day evening. The 'event, attended
by a racially mixed audience, was
sponsored by Beth Achim's men's
club.
Rabbi Hailu Moshe Paris, an
Ethiopian-born graduate of Yeshiva
University who ;practices in the
Bronx, said blaelc anti-Semitism
in New York "really is the black
community's reaction to the white
community. In other parts of the
country," he said, "it's the Polish
or Irish that the Blacks are react-
ing to; in New York, it's Jews."
He said the social and eco-
nomic mobility - of Blacks in Har-
lem is blocked by Jews who
maintain stores and apartment
buildings there. Administration
should "change with the neigh-
borhood," he added. He sug-
gested that the Jewish mama
and papa stores in the ghetto
be turned over to the people
now living in Harlem.
Rabbi Paris recommended
greater involvement by Jewish so-
cial action agencies as the best
solution to black anti-Semitism. He
added that he feels Jews do more
than other religious groups in the
social action arena, "but they
could do more."
