Wide Range of Activities Scheduled for Book Fair

The 18th annual Jewish Book
Fair, to he held at the Jewish Cen-
ter Nov. 8-16, is in preparation
under the direction of Mrs. Henry
Berris, book fair chairman, and
Mrs. Louis E. Rudner, director of
the cultural arts department of the
Jewish Center.
Book Fair will feature displays
of books, from inexpensive paper-
backs to heirloom editions, speak-
ing appearancess by outstanding
authors, special programs for chil-
dren and youth and productions by
the Center Theater and Center
Symphony Orchestra.
• The Yiddish Committee of the
Jewish Center will present a pre-

dish poets, Joshua Shpig - el and
Aaron Zeitlin. The evening will be
chaired by Movsas Goldoftas. Wolf
Snyder and Dr. Shmarya Kleinman

p.m. Nov. 8 with guest speaker
Gerald Green, author of "The Last
Angry Man" and "Artists of Tere-

Society."
Center Theater will share the
opening night spotlight with a pro-
duction of Tennessee Williams'
"Summer and Smoke." Tickets are
now on sale at the Center.
On Nov. 9, Book Fair will con-
tinue with a host of special pro-
grams for children and youth.
