JERUSALEM (JTA) — Eighteen
thousand Arab school children in
East Jerusalem began the new
school year Monday as 200,000
Israeli youngsters all over the
country returned to classes. There
are 7,000 more children attending
school in East Jerusalem this year
than last year.
