3rd Synagogue in Gaza

TEL AVIV (JTA) — The army
chaplains corps has opened a syna-
gogue in the southern Gaza Strip
for the use of soldiers stationed in
the Raffah area. It will be the third
synagogue established in the Gaza
Strip.
The synagogue was dedicated in
the memory of Lt. Col. Abraham
Sachs and Capt. Freddy Shmueli,
of the military government, who
were killed near Raffah nine
months ago when their vehicle was
mined.

Add Holocaust to Curricula
