vived by his wife, Ethel; a son,

Gertrude L. Levin, 25105 Biarritz
Cir., Oak Park, died July 24 at age
69.
Mrs. Levin, who was born in
Philadelphia, lived in the Detroit
area 57 years. She was a member
of Temple Beth El, Hadassah and
Zedakah Club.
Survivors are a son, Stanford M.
Leeds; a daughter, Mrs. Richard
(Lois) Vernick; two sisters, Mrs.
Ben (Jeanette (Rollins and Ann
Rosengarten; and three grandchil-
dren.

Jewelry Salesman

Former Detroiter M . James
Rush, a jewelry salesman, died
July 28 in Mobile, Ala., at age 65.
Born in Detroit, Mr. Rush cur-
rently resided in Miami Beach.
He graduated in 1925 from the
University of Michigan where he
was affiliated with Sigma Alpha
Mu Fraternity. He was a member
of the Southern Jewelers Travelers
Association.
He leaves his wife, Winifred;
a daughter, Winifred; and a sister,
Mrs. Lionel (Gertrude) Willens
of Farmington.

Jack S. Garelik, a retail jeweler-
