arrival in this country as a
youngster in 1923, and was rear-
ed in a family active and pro-
minent in Jewish affairs. A grad-
uate of the United Hebrew
Schools of Detroit, class of 1925,
King also attended Yeshiva Beth
Yehuda when it was first found-
ed. He served for many years as
an officer and member of the
board of the Jewish Center. In
1943 he joined Cong. Shaarey
Zedek, where he is a member of
the board of governors.
