David Lansky, 53;
Engineer for Ford

David Lansky, senior textile en-
gineer for Ford Motor Co., died
Wednesday at age 53. A 1940
graduate of the Detroit Institute
of Technology, he was with Ford
for 29 years.
Mr. Lansky, 23611 Moritz, Oak
Park, was a member of Morgen-
thau Lodge of Bnai Brith, Society
of Automotive Engineers and De-
troit Plastics Society.
He leaves his wife, Edith; two
sons, Edward and Paul; two broth-
ers, Max and Abe; and two grand-
children.

Harry Goldin of Windsor

Harry Goldin, a Windsor resident
for more than 40 years, died May
24 at age 88. A retired barber, Mr.
Goldin was active in Shaar Hasho-
mayim and Shaare Zedek synago-
gues. He was born in Russia.
Mr. Goldin, 1165 Elsmere, leaves
his wife, Lilly; five sons, Louis
and Arnold of Detroit, Irving,
Frank and Morris; three daugh-
ters, Mrs. Alex (Louise) Joffe,
Mrs. Alex (Edith) Cherkinsky and
Mrs. Erwin (Frances) Wiener, all
of Detroit; 20 grandchildren and
14 great-grandchildren. Interment
Windsor.

Samuel J. Harendorf, 69,
Playwright, Journalist

LONDON (JTA) - Samuel J.
Harendorf, playwright and jour-
nalist, died here recently at the
age of 69. He edited Yiddish
papers in Vienna and London. Be-
fore World War II he was cor-
respondent for the Yiddish daily
"Moment" in Warsaw, and after
the war represented Tel Aviv,
New York, Buenos Aires and Mon-
tivedo Yiddish papers.

Mr. Pearl, past president of the

Philip Jacobs, a member of

Wednesday at age 77. Retired

which he founded, he was a mem-

Born in Poland, Mr. Jacobs lived
