LARCO'S

SOMETHING NEW AND excit-
ing is the Golden Wheel on Cool-
idge in Oak Park . . . It's a com-
plete carry-out, but certainly no
ordinary one by any means . . . In
fact, it's the only carry out and
catering operation with such an ex-
tensive menu . . . and a gourmet
corner that includes luscious dishes
like Quiche Lorraine. Coq au
Vin (chicken in red wine), Beef
Wellington, Roast Long Island
Duckling a l'Orange, etc. .. . Such
a spot is hard to believe in the
local area . . . especially as a
carry-out yet . . . Chef Robert Vel-
lay is the gent who brings this
most interesting new concept in
catering cuisine . . . from ground
sirloin to prime steak and seafood
items that include whitefish. red
snapper, perch fillets and shrimp.

name Proper Ingredients is com-
paratively new ... The sensational
young musical combo for dancing
and floor show at Menjo's on W.
McNichols took the appropos title
only three months ago and have
certainly been living up to it . . .
Don't miss these very fine enter-
tainers ... three fellows and a girl
- . . whose versatilities include
everything to please all ages - . .
from Latin American to popular
standards to folk songs and rock
and roll . . . Their floor show rou-
tines which change completely each
time are full of zest . . . with im-
pacts of wide talent to delight their
audiences.
31 YEARS AGO when Fred Epps,
advertising and public relations
man, married the girl he met at
