Ribicoff will be principal speaker at the dinner. Prior to his full-time association with Yeshiva University, Rabbi Miller spent 25 years in his New York rabbinic past. As chairman of the American Jewish Confer- ence on Soviet Jewry, he led a delegation of the Rabbinical Coun- cil of America to Russia in 1965, where he spoke from the pulpit in Moscow. Rabbi Miller is a past president and honorary president of the Rab- binical Council of America, chair- man of the American Zionist Council, past president of the As- sociation of Jewish Chaplains of the Armed Forces and a member of the board of Jewish Education Committee of New York. He served as president of Yes- hiva University's Rabbinic Alumni Association and was accorded the Bernard Revel Award for Com- munity Service by the Yeshiva College Alumni Association. The university conferred upon him an honorary doctor of divinity degree in 1967, and the Union of Ortho- dox Jewish Congregations of America honored him with the Rabbinic Leadership Award.
