three floors of the University Cen-
ter Building. Constructed at a cost
of $1,200,000, the center opened
earlier this year.
Religious foundations at the uni-
versity contributed $850,000 and
private foundations and individuals
provided $250,000 of the cost of
the center. The largest private
gift was made by the late Charles
Grosberg, Detroit businessman
and philanthropist.
