prised by 70 guests at a 25th anniversary party given by their four
daughters. Mrs. Zelda Smith flew in from Los Angeles to attend the
event in honor of her sister and brother-in-law. An additional surprise
was the attendance of the couple's daughter. Barbara, who attends
school in Darien. Conn.
Mrs. Marshall M. Miller of E. Roycourt Ave., Huntington Woods,
vice president of the National Federation of Temple Sisterhoods, parti-
cipated in the annual spring meeting of the organization's executive
committee at NFTS headquarters in New York. this week. Mrs. Miller
is a leader in the sisterhood of Temple Beth El.
Mr. Louis Ulanoff. 25302 NIontmarte. Oak Park. was honored on his
85th birthday last Saturday at the home of his grandchildren, Mr. and
Mrs. Richard Korner. 27435 Fairfax. Southfield. A highlight of the eve-
ning was the reading by his children and grandchildren of original
poems written in his honor.

May 27, at the Pontchartrain Hotel, Mrs. Yosef Tekoah, wife of
the Israel ambassador to the United Nations, and Roberta Peters,
world-famous Metropolitan Opera star, will be the guests of honor at
a sponsor luncheon, it was announced by Mrs. Morris L. Sehaver,
Israel Bond Women's Division chairman. The luncheon is for mem-
bers of the Israel Bond honor societies. Members of the luncheon
committee include (from left) seated: Mesdames Arnold Frank, Abra-
ham Satovsky and Samuel Hamburger; standing, Mesdames Joseph
Katchke, Morris L. Schaver, Pearl Nosan, Dan Shapiro, Robert
Brody, Elmer Ellias and Sidney Schwartz. Mrs. Nosan is chairman
of the all-Israel fashion show-luncheon, which will be held June 10
at Cong. Shaarey Zedek.
