Mrs. Sidney Winer to Head Hadassah
of Metro Detroit; Installation Tuesday
Robert Cohen to Take
Susan Jaffee as Bride
The first anniversary election
and installation of officers of the
Metropolitan Detroit Chapter of
Hadassah will be held 12:30 p.m.
Tuesday at Cong. Shaarey Zedek.
Mrs. Goldie Adler will be installing
officer, and musical selections will
be presented at "Hadassah Note-
ables."
This occasion also marks the first
anniversary of the merger of De-
troit and South Oakland County
chapters.

will follow the meeting.
Headed by Mrs. Sidney J. Winer
as president, the slate includes
vice president co-ordinators, Mes-
dames Abe Zitomer, Robert Tuttle-
man, Emanuel Sarko, Albert New-
man, Edward Narens, William
Deutsch, Louis Milgrom and Merle
Harris. Area vice presidents are
Mesdames Louis Cooper, Harold
Y. Hoffman, Maurice Perlman and
E. Newton Rottenberg.
Mrs. Winer, an active Hadassah
worker for most of her life, has
been on the boards of Sinai Hospi-
tal Women's Guild and Jewish
Center.
She has worked for Jewish Wel-
fare Federation Women's Division,
National Council of Jewish Wom-
