Sephardic Community Aids Drive Judge Baum Heads Nat'l Conciliation Court Service THE DETROIT JEWISH NEWS Friday, May 9, 1969-19 Pupils to Study Holocaust in Miami Jewish Schools MIAMI (JTA) — The Bureau of Jewish Education has announced that the Nazi Holocaust will be the subject of two sessions in all Jew- ish schools in Miami from grade five upward. Albert Ossip, bureau president, said that the bureau had published a bulletin for teachers on the Holocaust for use in the courses. JUDGE VICTOR J. Baum was elected president of the National Conciliation Court Service last weekend in Beverly Hills, Calif. Judge Baum, who has had many articles published nationally and internationally in the area of court counseling, was author of the cur- rent state act establishing court counseling services in Michigan. Another Detroiter, Edward Stan- iec, was elected secretary. Judge Samuel King of Hawaii was elected vice president and Judge Melvin Cohen of Redwood City, Calif., treasurer.
