Agriculture Dept. to Ship
Jordan $1 Million in Food

WASHINGTON (JTA)—The De-
partment of Agriculture Monday
announced that $1,300,000 in wheat
or flour will be shipped to Jordan
under the Food for Peace Pro-
gram. This amounts to about
735,000 bushels of wheat or wheat
flour. The sum of $200,000 was
designated to cover ocean trans-
portation costs for delivery to the
port of Aqaba.
