Senior Judea Calls
Hi g h School Students

Senior Judea will hold an open
membership meeting 2:15 p.m.
Sunday at the 10 Mile branch of
the Jewish Center. Co-chairmen
Robert Epstein of Franklin Senior
Judea, and Joyce Schon of Dahlia
Senior Judea, announced that Jon
Lifschutz from the University of
Wisconsin, Midwest Zionist Youth
Commission regional adviser, will
be guest speaker.
Senior Judea is a high school or-
ganization within the new over-all
national youth movement called
Hashahar, recently merging the
two oldest Zionist youth groups in
the United States, Young Judea ,
and Junior Hadassah, into one
Israel-oriented program for boys
and girls though the college level.
Hadassah is sponsor of the pro-
gram.

Gershenson Named by Heart Association

Charles H. Gershenson

was

of trustees of the Michigan Heart
Association at the association's
annual meeting at the Sheraton-
Cadillac Hotel Saturday, Dr. Mi-
chael C. Kozonis, president of the
association, announced. !

Gershenson has been involved in
many philanthropic and public
causes. A former Allied Jewish
Campaign chairman, he is a
member of the boards of both the
Jewish Community Center and

Sinai Hospital, and one of the
Michigan Higher Education As-
sistance Authority. Gershenson, a

former governor of Wayne State
University, lives at 17471 Hamil-
