TEL AVIV—The chairman of the
Association of British Settlers in
Israel said that his group expected
immigration from the British Isles
to double next year.
Jacob Morris reported that about
a third of the Britons who volun-
teered to serve Israel during the
Six-Day War have returned here
or have settled here permanently.
He said 1,030 British immigrants
arrived here last year, and a
total of 16,000 British Jews have
settled in Israel since the state
was established in 1948.
