Johnny Mathis Coming
to Masonic Temple

Detroit area music fans will
have an opportunity to hear the
"Johnny Mathis Magic" 8 p.m.
April 13, When he appears in con-
cert at Masonic Temple.
During his.:10-year career as a
top vocalist, Mathis has received
18 gold records, the music indus-
try's award presented to a per-
former topping the 1,000,000 mark
in sales.
Appearing with Mathis will be
the "Craig Hundley Trio," three
youngsters barely in their teens
who are making it big.

ple, from the best seller by Philip
Roth and a screenplay by Arnold
Schulman. This is the third direc-
torial achievement by the 38-year-
old son of Jan Peerce who made
himself a name with the contro-
versial movies, "One Potato, Two
Potato," and "The Incident," the
first one dealing with the plight of
the Negroes in the South, the sec-
ond projecting a shocking moment
in a New York subway train with
the passengers being terrorized by
two dope-addicted hoodlums.
