Ampal Stockholders
Given Annual Report

Detroiters who hold Ampal stock
and the debentures of the Ameri-
can Israel Corporation heard a re-
port on the progress made by the
investment company in Israel dur-
ing the past year.
An annual report meeting was
held March 27 at Northland Inn
and the outline of business in 1968
presented by Dorel Eisner, Ampal
representative in Israel.
Eisner reviewed the various in-
vestments entered into and the
numerous companies with which
Ampal does business.
A movie, "Frontier," shown at
the meeting, indicated how the
Beit Shan area in Israel is under
constant attack and how the set-
tlers proceed with their tasks re-
gardless of the dangers. Another
film showed the enthusiasm that
was displayed in Jerusalem during
the 20th anniversary celebration.
Morris Lieberman, member of
the Ampal board, presided, and
brief remarks were delivered by
another board member, Sidney
Shevitz.
