A light sculpture in acrylic plastic, "Architectural Form," by
Deanna Bardy was selected for the Purchase Award at the Jewish
Center Art Festival '69. As a gift of the Center, it will become a part
of the permanent collection of contemporary art at the Detroit Insti-
tute of Arts. Samuel Wagstaff Jr., curator of contemporary art at
the institute, selected the winning entry in the festival art show,
which continues through Sunday. Miss Bardy holds bachelors and
masters degrees at Wayne State University and studied at Pratt
Graphic Art Center. With Miss Bardy (second from right) are (from
